John Mishler is one of Goshen's premier artists and he has his studio right here at the Old Bag Factory!
In the old power house is where he makes his metal creations. John Mishler has works shown in surrounding counties and by his own admission, never throws anything away. You can see the kind of work he does and where it is located at his website, johnmishler.com.
A Goshen College Professor, and member of the Goshen Mayor's Arts Council, John is instrumental in the formation of the arts of Goshen. We are proud to have him as one of our own.
If you are looking for a different kind of jewelry store, you have to stop into the Old Bag Factory and visit the Gamze Neer Exclusive Jewelry Boutique right inside the front door.
You will be greeted by Gamze Neer or her husband, Chris who travel around the world gathering jewels and stories to tell. They specialize in the blue eye jewel (in the photo).
Gamze Neer also buys and sells gold and silver in their shop. The hours are 9am - 5pm Monday through Saturday.
On the first floor of the Old Bag Factory is a unique pottery shop. Goertzen Pottery, owned by local potter Mark Goertzen, is a long time favorite of Old Bag Factory visitors.
Not only can you purchase one of a kind pottery pieces, but you can watch the potters in action. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 9-5 and there's always someone there to answer your questions about the products.

Legacy Home Furniture has found its home on the first floor of the Old Bag Factory for 7 years! With the addition of the La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio, Legacy Home Furniture has filled their showroom with style and comfort!

The Old Bag Factory has space openings! We are looking for a coffee shop/restaurant to operate our Down Under restaurant space. Reasonable rental rates and marketing opportunities available! We would really like to see an all-day restaurant or coffee shop to serve our increasing customers and escape room players.
Retail spaces available as well on the second floor of the Old Bag Factory. We are looking for unique stores to join the OBF Mercantile, Second Song Musical Instruments and working artists!

The Old Bag Factory has housed an escape room since Fall 2016. In Fall 2017, Escape Down Under became the official escape room of the Old Bag Factory, falling under its umbrella of entertainment options exclusively owned and operated by Old Bag Factory Management.
There are two rooms available for play now, Fright at the Museum, which involves art and magic and The Inventor's Challenge, which is a race to find the long hidden inventions of an inventor from long ago. In each room, you find clues and put together puzzles to work your way through the room to reach the objective, all in a timed one hour.

Large groups for birthday parties, group from offices and such can take advantage of our large group pricing of $15 per person.

While you are here, enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of pie at the Trolley Cafe, established in the Old Bag Factory for close to 30 years!
On the second floor, you can find a bulk food/candy store featuring Amish snacks and candies as well as products made in our own backyard! Second Song Musical Instruments has the instrument you need at an affordable price for you student or loved one. You may also visit the Working Artists' Studio, there is always something unique in there to buy as well as talk to the artists who create the wonderful pieces you see!
In the Down Under, there is JC Cheesecakes, our own celebrity pitch night winner and Pop-Up Handicrafts who organize all the craft events taking place at the Old Bag Factory and operate the all year handicraft store!

The Old Bag Factory is proud to continue hosting the monthly FREE kids event called Creative Kids! Every month, we setup activities in many stores and halls for kids to make and take art and craft projects. We often have cool art demonstrations as well.
Next month is no different! We will have Clay Play at Goertzen Pottery, Tiny Timbers play in Legacy Home Furniture, Virtual Reality and Elkhart Art League Projects on the second floor and craft projects at Pop-Handicrafts! You can even get a kids lunch at the Trolley Cafe!
The event runs from 11am - 2pm on November 11th.And even though the stations may close at 2, the stores will remain open until 5pm!
