UPCOMING EVENTS

Robin and Linda Williams and Their Fine Group
Friday, February 12, 2010
Virginia based Robin and Linda Williams are known for their rich harmonies and original songwriting rooted in the country/bluegrass/gospel tradition. They have gained widespread national prominence on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home companion," as one half of The Hopeful Gospel Quartet as well as performing in their own right. They also have appeared on Austin City Limits, Mountain Stage, All Things Considered, The Grand Old Opry Music City Tonight, Old time Country Music, E-Town and Nashville Now. Plus they've released nearly 20 albums and toured for many years from coast to coast. This makes their third appearance here at LVD's.

The Concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.

Kennedy's Kitchen
Friday, March 12, 2010
Back for their seventh appearance, Kennedy's Kitchen performs tear-up-the-floor, beautiful break-your-heart Irish music; traditional dance tunes, pub songs, and their own original pieces. Add in some stories, jokes, and well-embellished tall tales, and you've got one of the top Irish bands in the Midwest -- and a concert that always sells out. Together since 1998, the members play a variety of instruments including fiddle, flute, whistles, mandolin, bouzouki, guitar, and bodhran. In 2005, Kennedy's Kitchen shared the stage with the Chieftains' finale as well as with Tommy Makem in 2006 at Notre Dame. For the perfect jump start to your St. Paddy Day celebrating, you'll find this is partying and dancing music at its best.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.

Location: The concert hall on the 3rd floor of OBF

Peppino D'Agostino
Saturday, March 20, 2010
Peppino D'Agostino is a Renaissance man. This is not just because he was born in Italy. Everything about the longtime California resident and his art -- virtuoso acoustic guitarist, composer, singer, teacher and all-around entertainer -- is rooted in his heritage. It's fitting then that his new CD is titled Made in Italy. D'Agostino has had a long and distinguished career filled with highlights. His most recent accolade came from Guitar Player magazine when he was voted BEST ACOUSTIC GUITARIST by its readers in the Reader's Choice Awards in May 2007.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
